How My Challenge Groups Work...

 

WORKOUTS: We have a number of workouts, but I am currently focusing on 21 Day Fix, 22 Minute Hard Corps, and PiYo. All three programs include both a workout program and an easy to follow nutrition program. The workouts are 20-40 minutes long and you do them at home, so if you're busy (like me) it's perfect. They are targeted and challenging but doable. There is a modifier for each move in case something is too hard. The 21 Day Fix workouts rotate between cardio, strength training, yoga and pilates, 22 Minute Hard Corps rotates between cardio and resistance training in a military boot camp style workout developed by Tony Horton with real US Veterans, and PiYo is an infusion of Pilates and Yoga with constant moving and stretching, using your own body weight to sculpt your body. If these workouts don't sound right for you, we have a variety of programs, include dance-based workouts, straight HIIT, muscle-building, and many more.

NUTRITION: The nutrition program is based on portion control. It's tailored to you based on an equation they provide using height and weight. It's both regimented and flexible in the way that it tells you what portions of each food group to eat, but there are no specific meals to cook. It's easy to manage and a LOT of food. You won't be hungry. It incorporates beachbody's superfood protein shake (Shakeology) to replace one meal a day-normally breakfast- which curbs hunger, provides energy and really speeds up weight loss.

 

ACCOUNTABILITY:  I will be there to coach you through it by posting recipes, tips, answering all your questions, and holding you accountable to your goals. Our challenge groups are a positive, no judgment environment where everyone is rooting for everyone else. With 21 Day Fix, our challengers lose anywhere from 4 to 12 pounds and gain visible muscle definition in a three week cycle.

 

SHAKEOLOGY: Shakeology is so much more than just a protein or weight loss shake that you can find at GNC. It incorporates Beachbody's superfood nutrient Shakeology  to replace one meal or snack a day - normally breakfast, lunch, or mid-afternoon snack- which curbs hunger/cravings, provides energy, helps regulate blood sugar levels, PH balance, and aids with digestion (tons of probiotics and amino acids).  Because of the superior nutrition in the shake, it helps promote healthier hair and skin as well as weight loss because all your bodily systems begin to run at more optimal levels with continued use for a few weeks.
